An October ownership announcement
Sika announced on October 9, 2026 that it had acquired Azpects Group, a UK supplier of paving-joint compounds and related landscaping materials. Its products serve work on patios, paths and driveways.
This report covers that October announcement. November 1 is WashWiki's publication date, not a new acquisition date.
What the records establish
Companies House separately records an October 16 filing for Azpects Limited notifying Sika Limited as a person with significant control from October 8. Those filing and control dates should not be treated as the closing date for the entire group transaction.
Sika expects the combination to expand distribution opportunities and improve manufacturing and logistics. These are the buyer's expectations; they do not establish a particular stock availability, price or delivery improvement for contractors.
WashWiki's practical take
For a contractor specifying jointing material or returning to maintain paving, the useful next step is to keep the exact product name and applicable instructions with the job record. Ask the supplier about current availability and the appropriate technical-support contact when planning the work.
Ownership news alone does not establish that a formula, warranty, cleaning method or sealing compatibility has changed. Avoid treating a corporate announcement as permission to substitute one product for another. Resolve those questions against current product documentation and the actual installation.
These are editorial planning suggestions, not additional findings about Azpects products. Our related jointing and paver-care guides cover the separate practical questions.
