A new spotlight on a shared battery platform
STIHL highlighted its ALLPRO battery technology in an October 21, 2026 U.S. announcement from Equip Expo. The release features the AP 300.0 P battery and AL 1602 MO charger, and says ALLPRO is compatible with more than 60 existing professional STIHL tools.
For businesses that combine cleaning and property maintenance, the relevant development is the platform connection to Kärcher.
The cleaning connection has its own timeline
STIHL's July 2 alliance announcement said existing STIHL AP batteries would work with new Kärcher battery-powered equipment. It described ALLPRO as a new platform for Kärcher and scheduled its new batteries and devices for a January 1, 2027 market launch.
The release also promised continuing service, spare parts and battery availability for Kärcher's existing Battery Universe equipment. That support statement should not be read as confirmation that older Kärcher batteries fit ALLPRO tools.
Check the combination you would actually buy
WashWiki's practical advice is to make a short equipment list before changing platforms. Record the exact tool model, approved battery and charger combination, and availability in your market. Ask the supplier to confirm those details for the proposed purchase.
If a crew already owns both brands, list its current equipment separately from planned additions. That makes it easier to see which purchases share a documented battery system and which still need their own charging setup.
Keep the announcement separate from a product test
The two releases do not identify a specific new ALLPRO pressure-washer model. They provide platform plans, not a demonstration of cleaning performance. A useful next step is to check the eventual machine's own documentation against the work it needs to do.
