A new association announcement, with an important access condition

The WaterJet Technology Association announced phase one of its Field Mobile App on October 15, 2026. Its intended users are technicians, supervisors and other authorized personnel in high-pressure waterjetting, hydroblasting and industrial vacuum work.

WJTA's announcement says employees of corporate members and Individual-class members can use the app, with account setup through its office. The Android listing instead describes corporate-member access only. Confirm current eligibility and account activation with WJTA before relying on access; the two public descriptions differ.

What the published descriptions include

WJTA lists calculators, daily safety talks, job-safety-analysis and hazard checklists, and medical alert cards for waterjet and vacuum injuries. The announcement says the safety-talk collection contains 61 one-page sheets, with discussion and sign-off elements.

The developer's Android listing describes calculations for pump performance, nozzle sizing, tank volume and material weight, with imperial and metric units. It also describes offline-capable calculators and a document library whose files can be saved for offline access. Those are publisher and developer descriptions; WashWiki has not tested the features or the calculations.

Check the account and the offline workflow before a job

Our practical reading is that a useful field tool has to be ready before the crew needs it. A member company considering the app should confirm who can sign in, which resources its account can access, and what actually remains available without connectivity.

A sensible trial would use a familiar, already-verified calculation and a known document. Confirm the selected units, inputs and document revision, then compare the result through the company's established process. An app result should not become a reason to skip equipment limits, training or site-specific checks.

Read the dates correctly

The Google Play page displayed an August 14, 2026 update date when checked. That predates WJTA's October announcement, so the announcement date is not evidence of the app's first release.

This is a report about a member resource for industrial operations, not a claim that the app certifies a contractor or establishes a new cleaning standard. Readers should use the official links to confirm current eligibility and features before incorporating it into their work.
