What the first results say
Power Washers of North America (PWNA) released preliminary findings on October 29 from its June–October 2026 survey, which received 235 U.S. and Canadian responses.
Of those answering the cost question, 54% chose fuel and 53% labor or wages among their top three pressures. Multiple choices were allowed. On the safety-program question, 34% reported a formal written program.

Percentages use the people answering each question; individual question counts are not supplied. Detailed subgroup comparisons use 168 responses.
PWNA's July recruitment notice publicly invited participation and offered prize-draw entry. Our interpretation: these self-selected responses are useful context, but the materials do not establish a representative worldwide sample. A reported percentage is not a target for your business.
WashWiki's practical take
Use the release to ask two concrete questions. First, do your estimates reflect what recent jobs actually required in travel, labor and repairs? Compare your own records with your assumptions before changing a price or adding a service.
Second, can the person doing a job find and explain the relevant written safety procedures? Choose a real upcoming task and review the documents together. A survey answer cannot tell you whether your procedures work on site.
Those are editorial planning suggestions, not additional survey findings. Start with your own evidence rather than borrowing a competitor's figures.
