Meet the WashWiki companions
Super Buddy.
Ridley the Riddler.
Real dogs. A foster story. A whole world of make-believe adventure.
Before the capes and the grime-fighting missions, there was a dog who was only supposed to stay a week.
A true beginning, in Chuck’s words
The dog who was supposed to stay a week.
Chuck Worthley was fostering dogs when Buddy came into his life through Fur Sisters – Furever Urs Rescue. The plan was a temporary stay—about a week while Buddy found a home.
Then Chuck fell in love with him. He says the attachment went both ways. When it came to giving Buddy back, he couldn’t do it. He adopted him instead.
“There I am, a foster failure.”
Chuck Worthley
Chuck says Buddy’s interest in watching his pressure-washing work helped inspire Super Buddy. He imagined his companion learning the Safe Touch ways and becoming a superhero, ready to take on a cast of mold, algae, mildew, pollution, cobwebs and mud-dauber villains.
A temporary place became a lasting home. For Chuck, Buddy’s story is a personal reminder of the companionship a dog can bring—and a reason to give fostering and adoption a closer look.
Every hero needs a good companion
Enter Ridley.
Purple cape. Plenty of character.
Ridley belongs to Alice Dickinson, Chuck’s good friend and coworker. He joined the Safe Touch team and, as Chuck tells it, became a superhero in everybody’s eyes there.
In the cartoon world, he is Ridley the Riddler: Super Buddy’s companion and sidekick, recognizable by his purple mask and cape. His name gives their adventures room for puzzles, clues and the occasional messy mystery.
Buddy and Ridley are real dogs. Their superpowers, villains and adventures live in the stories and artwork.

The Mystery of the Green Wall
A green wall appeared overnight on a make-believe street, and Algae was already taking a bow. Mold and Mildew insisted they deserved credit. From the corner, Cobweb quietly watched the argument.
Super Buddy arrived with Ridley the Riddler, whose purple cape nearly stole the scene. Before anyone rushed into action, the pair decided to collect clues. What had changed? Why was only part of the wall green? And who had left tiny muddy footprints beneath it?
Ridley spotted the first surprise: the villains couldn’t agree on their own story.
The heroes opened a fresh case file. This mystery would begin with questions—and the next clue was just around the corner.
